About the Role :
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the continued success of our Geography curriculum.
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and stimulating lessons across the curriculum (mention specific Key Stages if known), igniting a passion for Geography in students, and equipping them with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities :
- Curriculum Delivery :
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging and stimulating Geography lessons.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and ensure all students reach their full potential.
- Integrate current geographical issues and real-world examples into your lessons, fostering critical thinking and global citizenship.
- Effectively prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations (mention if applicable).
- Student Progress :
- Track and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance to ensure students achieve their academic goals.
- Utilize a variety of assessment strategies to inform teaching and learning.
- Fieldwork :
- Organize and lead fieldwork trips, enriching students' learning experience and developing their geographical skills.
- Teamwork :
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Geography department and across the school.
- Share best practices and contribute to the ongoing development of the Geography curriculum.

- A qualified Geography Teacher with a demonstrable passion for the subject.
- Excellent subject knowledge and a commitment to staying abreast of current trends and developments in Geography education.
