Job summary
We are currently recruiting for a Switchboard Team Leader on a Fixed Term Contract to work in our busy 24 / 7 Switchboard.
This is for 12 months with a view to making this permanent. Your primary site will be the Leicester Royal Infirmary, but you maybe asked to work at our other Switchboard based at the Glenfield Hospital on some occasions.
Main duties of the job
You will need to have administrative experience of working in a busy Switchboard / Helpdesk environment and the ability to manage a busy workload and to prioritise.
You should be able to demonstrate excellent inter personal and communication skills and have the ability to forge and maintain relationships with clinical and non-clinical staff,
the ability to develop and lead effective teams, work to tight deadlines with a 'can do attitude'.
The role will need strong leadership abilities and you must have excellent interpersonal skills, being able to inspire and lead a team.
As a Team Leader, you will be the contact point for all Team Members, so you communication skills should be excellent. You should also be able to act proactively to ensure the smooth running of the Team Operations and effective collaborations.
Ultimately you should lead by setting good standards and engage the Team in achieving our goals.
