SEN Teaching Assistant (Autism Support)

If so, we have a fantastic opportunity supporting a child with autism in a welcoming primary school in Leeds from September.
SEN Teaching Assistant (Autism Support) The Role :
- SEN Teaching Assistant
- Located in Leeds
- Providing 1 : 1 support
- Promoting the pupil’s educational, emotional, and social development
- Supporting pupils that need it the most and can be the hardest to reach
- Employing and adapting various teaching strategies to suit the needs of the child
SEN Teaching Assistant (Autism Support) The Benefits :
- Paid £425 £550 per week, term time only
- Long term role, no day-to-day supply!

Applicant Requirements SEN Teaching Assistant (Autism Support) :
- Minimum 2 : 1 degree
- Have a good understanding of ASD
- Previous experience supporting an individual with Autism
- Passionate about supporting people with SEN
- Understanding, patient and empathetic towards children’s needs
- Dedicated to making a difference to pupils’ experience of education
