SEN Teaching Assistant

Location : Liskeard

Salary : £80 - £95 per day

Start Date : Immediate

Our exceptional educators seek a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant in Liskeard to join their team with GSL Education. As a team member, your primary role will involve working alongside teachers and supporting children in reaching their full potential.

Responsibilities of a SEN Teaching Assistant :

- Work closely with teachers to design engaging and stimulating lessons that ignite student curiosity.
- Provide individualized assistance to students, ensuring their unique needs are met.






- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where every student feels valued and can thrive.
- Take advantage of ongoing mentorship and professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching skills and advance your career in education.

Requirements of a SEN Teaching Assistant :

- A strong grasp of educational principles and best practices.
- Desired experience with Autism and SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health).
- Demonstrated patience and a compassionate approach when working with students.
- Enjoy working collaboratively and building strong relationships with colleagues.
- Prior experience is welcome, but a love for learning and a commitment to student growth are essential.
- Candidates with a driving license and access to a vehicle are preferred.

To work with GSL Education, you should :

- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
- Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
