Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young learners?
An outstanding Primary / Secondary School is seeking a Pastoral Manager to join their growing team.
They are looking to appoint a Cover Manager to ensure pupils undertake a pre-prepared lesson during a teacher’s absence, support students and work closely to support the pastoral and curricular systems both operationally and administratively.
Responsibility
- To actively promote the Academy’s Equal Opportunities Policy and Diversity Strategy and observe the standard of conduct which prevents discrimination taking place.

- At the discretion of the Headteacher, such other activities as may from time to time be agreed consistent with the nature of the job described above.
- To work with colleagues to achieve school improvement plan objectives and targets.
- To participate in Employee Development schemes and Performance Management and contribute to the identification of own team development needs.
- To actively support all school policies and strategic objectives.

Experience, Training and Qualifications of the individual :
- Be creative, patient, and willing to think outside of the box.
- Previous experience with providing cover in a variety of subjects.
- Is a team player who puts the success of all learners at the heart of all they do
- Is passionate about ensuring every student meets their potential
- Has excellent subject knowledge
To be eligible for this role, the potential candidate must :
- Hold the right to work in the country of the role.
- DBS certificates
- Pastoral Manager experience
- Provide specific references.
