Are you a recent UK based Humanities subject graduate with a desire to find a fulfilling Philosophy Tutor role in the Birmingham area for the academic year?
i-teachers are current working with an OFSTED graded Outstanding’ sixth form college based in the Balsall Heath area who are eager to add an outgoing, dedicated and hard-working Philosophy Tutor in a full-time role for the academic year.
In this role as Philosophy Tutor, the successful candidate will be required to provide 1 : 1,
small group and classroom supervision to sixth form students in Year 12 and 13.
Philosophy Tutor Role Information :
- Providing 1 : 1, small group and classroom supervision in the Philosophy subject
- Supporting students across Year 12 & 13 demographic
- Creating engaging support sessions tailored around students needs
- Paid £490 per week during term time only
- Located in Balsall Heath area (B11)
- Monday to Friday role from September 2024 until July 2025
- Based in OFSTED graded Outstanding’ sixth form college
Philosophy Tutor Applicant Requirements :
- Minimum 2 : 1 UK based Humanities subject degree
- Strong academic background
- Prior experience supporting tutoring, teaching and mentoring
- Naturally outgoing and supportive individual
- Passionate about your specialist subject
