Are you an experienced and passionate English teacher ready to lead and inspire? We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Head of English to join our exceptional team at a highly regarded mixed school in North London.

The Ideal Candidate Will :
- Have QTS and a strong track record in teaching English at KS3, KS4, and KS5.
- Demonstrate excellent leadership skills with experience in leading a department.
- Be passionate about English literature and language, with a commitment to inspiring students.
- Possess the ability to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.
- Have a vision for the future of English education and a drive for continuous improvement.
Responsibilities :
- Lead, develop, and inspire the English department,
ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, implementing strategies to enhance achievement.
- Support and mentor colleagues, fostering a culture of collaboration and professional growth.
- Contribute to the school’s strategic development, ensuring the English curriculum is engaging and relevant.
- Promote a love of English through extracurricular activities, events, and initiatives.
