Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Physics lessons that follow the school's curriculum guides.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback on their academic performance.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and critical thinking.
- Support and guide students in their academic and personal development, providing appropriate pastoral care.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching methods and resources.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians, providing updates on student progress and addressing any concerns.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development sessions, and other school events as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Physics or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Physics education.
- Experience teaching Physics to secondary school students.
- Familiarity with the national curriculum and examination boards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of a diverse student population.
- Dedication to continuous professional development and keeping up-to-date with the latest teaching practices and methodologies.
