Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality Spanish lessons to students in primary and secondary school levels.
- Foster a positive and engaging learning environment that encourages active participation and supports students' individual needs.
- Create and implement appropriate assessments to evaluate students' progress and provide timely feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and resources.
- Stay up-to-date with current educational practices, methodologies, and standards.
- Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on students' performance.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events as required.
Requirements
- A relevant bachelor's degree, ideally in Spanish or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
or equivalent certification.
- Proven experience teaching Spanish to primary and / or secondary school students.
- Excellent knowledge of the Spanish language, including grammar, vocabulary, and cultural aspects.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Passion for education and a genuine interest in supporting students' language development.
- Ability to create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that promotes student growth and achievement.
- Knowledge of current educational practices, trends, and technology integration.
