Description
We are looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager for a 6 month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extending to 12 months.
As Project Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the successful planning, execution, and completion of various streams within the project.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in different locations to ensure project goals, objectives, and deliverables are defined and achieved within scope, budget, and timeline constraints.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning : Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, identifying project objectives, work breakdown structures, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
2. Project Execution :
Lead the project in executing project plans, ensuring adherence to established processes, methodologies, and quality standards.
Monitor project progress, identify and resolve issues, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
3. Communication and Collaboration : Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members, stakeholders, and project sponsors.
Coordinate regular project status meetings, document key decisions, and communicate project updates in a clear and timely manner.
4. Resource Management : Allocate and manage project and business resources effectively, including personnel, budget, and materials.
Anticipate resource requirements and proactively address any potential resource constraints or gaps.
5. Risk Management : Identify and assess project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and monitor risk factors throughout the project lifecycle.
Take proactive measures to minimize project risks and ensure project deliverables are met.

Change Management : Identify and manage project changes, assessing their impact on scope, schedule, and budget. Implement change control processes and ensure changes are documented, approved, and communicated appropriately.
7. Stakeholder Engagement : Engage and manage stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring their expectations are understood and managed effectively.
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, fostering trust and collaboration.
8. Quality Assurance : Implement quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure deliverables meet defined standards and requirements.
Perform regular project reviews and audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
Skills,
Knowledge and Expertise
- Degree level qualification in a relevant field (e.g., project management, business administration) or related demonstrable experience.
- Proven experience as a project manager, successfully delivering projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and influence cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Experience managing project teams and co-ordinating with functions in multi-locations, including UK,
Europe and Asia.
