As a Good with outstanding features’ Secondary School,
we are looking to appoint an experienced History Teacher, as the Head of History.
The Head Teacher is looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working History Teacher, as Head of History, who will have the aim of raising attainment, to lead the department.

- Delivering good and outstanding History lessons
- Leading a Department to raise attainment
- Full time and permanent position employed by the school
- Inner London pay scale MPS / UPS + TLR 2B
- Must hold UK QTS
- Ambitious and driven personality
- Pro active approach
- An advocate for your subject History
- Able to teach History to a high calibre
- Good understanding of the History curriculum
- Graded good’ or outstanding’ in recent lesson observations
- Experience of leading a team or managing members of staff ideal
- Previous responsibility an advantage pastoral or curriculum focused
