Main duties of the job
Manage a varied caseload of patients including stroke, neurological conditions,dementia and other acquired communication / swallowing disorders.
assess,diagnose, plan and deliver treatment programmes to patients in their care,using evidence-based treatments
willpromote independence, function and integration within the community using amulti-disciplinary approach
beresponsible for own caseload in the clinical setting, including patients withcomplex needs, working without direct supervision

- Degree or equivalent in Speech and Language Therapy
- HCPC Registration
Experience
Essential
- Post graduate dysphagia training
- Experience working in a community setting
- Previous experience within stroke and neurology assessment / rehabilitation
- Valid UK Drivers licence and access to a vehicle
