We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Art teacher to join an excellent school in Barnet starting in September. As an Art teacher, you will play a vital role in nurturing creativity and inspiring young minds.
The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching, a strong knowledge of the subject, and the ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons.

Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Art lessons to primary / secondary students.
- Foster a creative and inclusive learning environment for students of all abilities.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the national curriculum.
- Assess and evaluate students' progress through regular assignments, projects, and examinations.
- Encourage student participation and provide constructive feedback to support their growth.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to develop and improve the Art curriculum.
- Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Art, or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching Art in a primary or secondary school setting.
- Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment strategies.
- Strong understanding of different art techniques, styles, and art history.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to explore their creativity.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
- Organizational and time management skills to effectively plan lessons and meet deadlines.
