HEAD OFFICE BASED - MANCHESTER
Our client is one of the fastest growing online menswear fashion labels in the UK and are now looking to recruit an experienced MID LEVEL MENSWEAR APPAREL STREETWEAR DESIGNER to join their dynamic team due to phenomenal global growth and expansion, the successful candidate will ideally have at least 2 years working in Menswear Apparel / preferable from a sportswear Athleisure premium background and experience looking to now develop their career within a rapidly expanding premium brand.

THE ROLE
The candidate would also need to have experience APPAREL STREETWEAR for an online brand and have a solid understanding of garment construction and manufacturing
Create or visualise ideas and produce designs for 3 in house brands using (CAD) AI and photoshop.
Create moodboards and trend analysis alongside the design team to present to Creative Directors.
Keep up to date with emerging fashion trends as well as general trends relating to fabrics, colours and shapes.
Plan and develop seasonal ranges across all product groups and accessories.
work with others in the design team, such as buyers and forecasters, to develop products to meet briefs for retail partners such as Footasylum.
Liaise closely with production teams on an ongoing basis to ensure items are fit for purpose and are manufactured to the design specifications.
Understand design from a technical perspective, i.e. patterns and garment construction
Visit trade shows and manufacturers to source and select fabrics, trims and embellishments
Adapt and move on existing designs to maximise sales
Attend and assist the PD's in fit meetings
Attending regular trips to CHINA AND TURKEY
