Job Title : Learning Support Assistant

Start Date : After February Half Term
Contract Type : Temporary, through agency
Salary : Competitive, based on experience

Job Description : We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team after the February half term. As a Learning Support Assistant,
you will play a vital role in providing support to students with a range of learning needs, ensuring they have equal access to education and opportunities for success.
We are seeking individuals with a passion for Primary Education.
Key Responsibilities :
- Work closely with classroom teachers to implement individualized learning plans for students with special educational needs.
- Provide one-on-one support and small group interventions to help students overcome learning barriers and achieve academic progress.
- Assist in the creation and adaptation of learning materials to suit students' individual needs.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and respected.
- Collaborate with other members of the school staff, including SENCOs and external agencies, to ensure the provision of comprehensive support for students.
Requirements :
- Previous experience working in a similar role, preferably within a primary school setting.
- A passion for working with children and a commitment to promoting their well-being and academic development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, empathy, and resilience when working with students facing learning challenges.
- Relevant qualifications or training in education, childcare, or special educational needs (desirable but not essential).
