An opportunity has arisen for acting up / secondment into the Team Manager’s role in the Salford Older Adult Community Mental Health Services .

This role will initially be for a 6-month period to cover the current team manager has been seconded into an operational manager’s position.

Main duties of the job

To be responsible for the day-to-day operational management, leadership, and development of a multi-disciplinary older adult Community Mental Health Team (OACMHT).

The team is integrated, flexible, user-focussed,





and recovery-orientated to deliver a safe, effective, and high-quality service to service users with mental health needs, to ensure delivery of the relevant clinical pathways (functional or organic) as outlined within the OACMHT standard operational procedure.

Participation as a member of the Community Services Management Team in the overall management of community based secondary mental health services.

Participate in the service bronze on call rota as required.
