Marks Sattin Executive is working with a PE-backed FinTech disruptor that has experienced remarkable growth. The business is now looking for an exceptional Finance Director to join as a strategic partner to the executive team and key stakeholders, steering the next phase of targeted expansion.
In this critical role, the Finance Director will be instrumental in shaping the business’s strategic direction, driving growth, and ensuring a focus on sustainable, long-term value. Responsibilities will encompass managing external relationships with debt providers/funders, overseeing covenant risk, and leading the next round of debt financing to support the business’s scaling efforts. Additionally,
the Finance Director will manage the debt facility including the development and maintenance of the associated financial models.
This role is tailor-made for a forward-thinking leader on the upward trajectory who can significantly impact executive-level strategy through in-depth performance analysis, forecasting, and reporting, ultimately contributing to the continued success and growth of the business.
The ideal candidate
- A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or ACMA).
- Experience of being a Finance Director, Divisional Finance Director, Group Financial Controller or Head of Finance in a FCA Regulated non-banking lending businesses
- Track record of defining KPIs, commercialising the business and driving improvements in reporting.
- Hands-on experience in successfully scaling up a business
- Ability to manage key internal and external relationships including with debt funders and managing covenants,
invoicing and/or trade finance
- A high level of motivation, a "can do" attitude and a willingness to be involved at all level
