Job Title: Sixth Form Learning Supervisor
Location: Harrow, London
Job Type: Full-Time, Term-Time Only
Pay rate: 90 - 100 per day
About the Role:
Are you a recent graduate with a passion for education and a desire to inspire the next generation or someone who has experience tutoring children of secondary school age?
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Sixth Form Learning Supervisor to join a vibrant secondary school in Harrow. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a school environment, working closely with the Sixth Form.
There are great transport links to the school and there is parking nearby.
Key Responsibilities:
- Classroom Support:
Assist teachers in the preparation and delivery of lessons across KS5, ensuring students are fully engaged and supported in their learning.
- Individual and Group Support: Provide tailored support to students, both in small groups and on a one-to-one basis, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their potential.
- Resource Management: Help to organise resources, ensuring that all are prepared and available for lessons.
- Student Progress: Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and contributing to student assessments.
- Enrichment Activities: Support the development and delivery of extracurricular activities.
About You:
- Graduate: Ideally you will hold a degree, or have experience working with secondary school students.
- Passionate: A strong interest in education and a desire to inspire young people.
- Organised: Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Communicative: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Team Player:
Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and students.
- Desirable: Previous experience working with young people, either in a teaching, tutoring, or mentoring capacity, would be advantageous but is not essential.
