Viridis Real Estate is a property company acquiring and managing prime real estate assets to generate secure income streams and long-term capital growth. Viridis Real Estate invests in real estate projects whose value can be increased considerably through major redevelopment initiatives, in established locations, such as London, and along with emerging European cities in Austria, Germany, Portugal and Spain.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the drafting, reviewing, and negotiation of real estate contracts, leases, and transactional documents.
- Conduct title searches, property due diligence, and research relevant laws and regulations affecting real estate transactions.
- Support the legal team in handling land acquisitions,
property development, sales, and lease agreements.
- Prepare and submit documentation for planning applications, property registrations, and other regulatory filings.
- Coordinate with external parties, including surveyors, property managers, brokers, and local authorities, to ensure smooth transaction processes.
- Maintain organized records of property transactions, contracts, deeds, and correspondence with stakeholders.
- Handle landlord-tenant matters, disputes, and negotiations, ensuring compliance with relevant legal frameworks.
- Manage the corporate real estate portfolio, including renewals, terminations, and variations of leases.
- Liaise with clients, developers, and other internal departments to ensure all real estate-related legal requirements are met.
- Stay up to date with changes in real estate law, and industry best practices to provide proactive legal support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Legal Studies, or a related field; a paralegal qualification or certification is preferred.
- 7 years of paralegal experience, ideally in real estate law or within an in-house legal team.
- Strong understanding of property law, land acquisitions, leases, and contracts.
- Ability to conduct thorough legal research, including title searches and due diligence.
- Proven experience drafting and reviewing real estate-related contracts, lease agreements, and other legal documents.
- Strong organisational and analytical skills with the ability to identify key legal issues and ensure document accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for liaising with clients, external parties, and internal teams.
- Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in legal software, case management systems,
and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with legal teams, clients, and other stakeholders.
