Job Description:
As an Employment Associate, you will play a crucial role in advising clients on a wide range of employment law matters, including:
- Drafting and advising on employment contracts, policies,
and handbooks
- Managing complex individual disputes, such as unfair dismissal, discrimination, and whistleblowing claims
- Advising on collective bargaining and industrial action
- Conducting workplace investigations
- Advising on TUPE and transfer of undertakings
- Managing immigration matters
You will work closely with senior attorneys and clients to provide practical and effective legal advice while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Strong academic record
- 4-6 years of experience in a leading law firm's employment practice
- In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and relevant regulations
- Excellent drafting and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
