Commercial Strategy - Senior Manager - Life Sciences
Alexander Ash Consulting is currently working with a global advisory firm who are growing their Life Sciences practice, focusing on strategic engagements.
As a Senior Manager in their Pharma and Life Sciences group, this individual will play a key role in shaping solutions and driving successful client engagements. Working alongside a global network of consultants, you will engage with a diverse range of clients, from academic biotech start-ups to large pharmaceutical companies, assisting them in developing and commercialising cutting-edge healthcare products.
In this role, you will:
- Lead client projects,
working closely with stakeholders to understand their business challenges and provide practical, impactful solutions. This is across engagements in pricing and market access, brand strategy, commercial strategy, go-to-market strategy, customer engagement etc
- Manage teams of junior consultants, providing guidance and support while driving projects to successful completion.
- Use analytical and strategic thinking to structure and solve complex problems, delivering actionable recommendations to clients.
- Build strong relationships both within the firm and with external clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Support senior leadership in managing client engagements and contribute to new business development activities.
Experience required:
- Proven track record in management consulting, ideally delivering strategic engagements
- A background in life sciences (PhD or MBA preferred), with a solid understanding of the pharmaceutical industry.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, managing teams and guiding projects from inception to delivery
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a talent for breaking down complex issues and developing clear, practical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
