Role Overview: In this role, you will be responsible for driving new business sales within the mid-market segment, focusing on growing our client base across various industries. The ideal candidate will have experience selling fintech solutions or enterprise software,
with a strong understanding of payments, cash management, or third-party risk management being highly beneficial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve new business revenue targets in the mid-market sector.
- Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities by engaging with decision-makers at multiple levels within an organization.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients by effectively managing the entire sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation and closing.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product, and customer success, to tailor solutions to meet the specific needs of each prospect.
- Stay informed on market trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven track record in new business sales, ideally within fintech, enterprise software, or spend management platforms.
- Experience in selling solutions related to payments,
cash management, or third-party risk will be a significant advantage.
- Ability to build strong relationships and communicate complex solutions clearly and persuasively to key stakeholders.
- Exceptional organization and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple sales cycles simultaneously.
- Familiarity with the needs of mid-market companies and the ability to adapt sales strategies to fit their unique challenges.
- Experience selling into finance, procurement, or risk management departments is a plus.
