Actuarial Analyst - Reserving
We are working exclusively with a well-known reinsurer who are looking to add an actuarial analyst to their Reserving team. This role will report directly into the Head of the department. Day-to-day activities will include:
- Support quarterly assessment of technical provisions on IFRS and Solvency II bases, managing associated reserve risk.
- Assist in preparing data & presenting initial reserve proposals with clear rationale.
- Contribute to critical review & enhancement of Actuarial practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Enhance technical capabilities & succession planning through learning from senior colleagues and sharing best practices related to reserving and capital within the business.
The ideal candidate will have prior General Insurance experience from reserving, capital or pricing. Those who are working in-house or at a consultancy are encouraged to apply. You must have full RTW and open to a hybrid working structure.
