Our client is a leading large-cap global fund.
Position Overview:
The Senior Associate/VP will be integral to the fund's core+ infrastructure investment team, responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and managing investments. The candidate must have 4 to 6 years of experience, including a minimum of 2 years with a prestigious private equity fund, and a background in top-tier M&A;.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investment Sourcing & Analysis:
- Identify and assess new investment opportunities. Conduct detailed industry and market analysis.
- Financial Modeling & Valuation:
- Build and maintain sophisticated financial models (DCF, LBO, IRR) to evaluate prospective investments and support decision-making.
- Deal Execution:
- Lead due diligence,
working closely with external advisors, and support the structuring and negotiation of transactions.
- Stakeholder Relations:
- Engage with institutional investors, co-investors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful execution of investments.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- 4-6 years of total experience, with at least 2 years in a prestigious private equity fund.
- Previous experience in top-tier M&A;, with a proven ability to manage the full transaction lifecycle.
- Previous experience in Infrastructure PE is not required.
Education:
- Top-tier education or advanced degree in finance, business, or a related field.
Skills:
- Exceptional financial modelling and valuation capabilities.
- Solid understanding of corporate finance principles.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
