Urus Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced IT Support Engineer based in North London.Are you an IT Support Engineer looking to play a pivotal role for an ambitious, award winning MSP that provide IT support services to a range of business across London, the UK and overseas.
Responsibilities
-Providing 1st and 2nd line IT support to clients, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and resolving technical problems efficiently-Working collaboratively with other IT teams to ensure that Service Desk requests are resolved in a timely and effective manner.-Strong technical knowledge of hardware and software troubleshooting, including-Microsoft Office 365,
Windows 11, and macOS-Knowledge of AzureAD and Active Directory-Experienced in IT Support roles
- Providing technical support for issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity
- Responding to IT support tickets and resolving issues in a timely manner
- Assisting with the setup and configuration of computers, printers, and other IT equipment
- Troubleshooting network problems such as TCP/IP, LAN, and firewall issues
- Managing user accounts and permissions in Active Directory
- Delivering exceptional customer service to all employees seeking IT assistance
Experience- Previous experience in an IT support role is essential
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Mac OS
- Familiarity with help desk software such as Remedy
- Strong knowledge of technical support principles including TCP/IP, LAN, and firewall configurations
- Experience working with Active Directory for user management
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely
