Job Title: Lead Clinician & Occupational TherapistLocation: Heath Farm College – Kent Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 (FTE, dependent on experience)Hours: 37.5 hours per week 8.30am-4.30pm Contract: Permanent, 41 weeks (There may be scope for this role to be a full-time contract (52 weeks) if this is your preference, please get in touch to discuss)Essential: Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle required About the role

We are looking for a Lead Clinician & Occupational Therapist who is experienced at working with developing independence skills, travel,





healthy relationships, interception & life skills. An understanding of the education system is desirable and the ability to work systemically as part of a multi-disciplinary team is essential. The role will involve working closely with school SMT to identify priorities and will be working to embed clinical thinking within education practices for the best life outcomes for the students.

Collaboration and teamwork are essential skills. The successful candidate will need to do approximately 1 day a week at Heath Farm School to provide some OT support to Heath Farm School. You will be responsible for holding the therapy caseload with the full support of our well-established and knowledgeable clinical network and growing Clinical Team, you will also contribute to staff training and consultation.

Working within overall framework of the service policies and procedures, you will be supporting the integration of the specific service in the day to day running of each provision i.e., standardised assessments and clinical services.

A key aspect of the role will be to deliver the wellbeing and clinical rainbow strategy at a universal, enhanced and specialist level to support our wider teams in meeting our pupils’ needs in line with set Education, Health Plan (EHCP). For more information on the group please visit: https://www.outcomesfirstgroup.co.uk/Essential Criteria:Recognised degree in either, Occupational Therapy, Speech & Language Therapy, Psychotherapy or registered as a Practitioner Psychologist with the HCPC. Valid and up to date professional Registration & membership of professional body e.g. HCPC, RCOT, RCSLTExperience within the specialist client group; working with autistic individuals and those with complex needs. Clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities

Experience of providing supervision and supporting a therapy team







Ability to work independently

Experience of multi-professional work with teams or services within the designated specialty preferred

Full UK valid driving licence and access to own vehicle
