Building Services Engineer(Electrical or Security)
Salary : £48,000-£53,000
Type : Permanent, Full time (35hours per week)
Location : Ealing office base - Hybridworking and flexible across London

About theRole
You willbe part of the Building Services department who are responsible for ensuringthe safe operation and statutory compliance of all M&E; related equipment andcustomer safety.
As an Electrical Engineer, you will oversee the day-to-daymanagement of all the electrical equipment / systems,
communal & domesticelectrical testing programme or security related equipmentincluding access control, automated doors / gates, CCTV and warden call across the A2D propertyportfolio.
You will workclosely with the Contract Managers to oversee the M&E; contracts and lead oncomplex repairs and replacement works.
You will be able to review and challengecontractor quotations ensuring value for money and the quality of repairs.
You willsupport the team to ensure we provide quality homes and places for ourcustomers by exceeding service and regulatory expectations through delivery ofthe corporate strategies.
More about you
- You will hold a level 5 / 6 qualification in an M&E; related discipline or be able to evidence an extensive M&E; background in servicing and maintenance
- Significant M&E; technical experience and managing high value contracts and programmes of works
- Knowledge of the Building Regulations, compliance standards and able to read and understand technical specifications and drawings
- Experience of providing effective customer focused services, in an M&E; or related maintenance or repair setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle required
