A rewarding job as a BAND Nursing Assistant in the Oxford Eye Hospital - Pre-Operative Assessment Team!
The Oxford Eye Hospital based at the John Radcliffe Hospital is a centre of innovation in Ophthalmology, and we are expanding our nursing workforce to enable us to further develop our service and continue to provide excellent care.
Main duties of the job
We are a busy outpatient department treating over , adults and children a year in the full range of ophthalmology clinics including an emergency department and nurse-led pre-operative assessment.
Our team is made up of over members of staff including specialist nurses, nursing assistants, band assistant practitioners, Nursing Associates,
Eye Clinic Liaison Officers and a department housekeeper.
As a Band Nursing Assistant you will have a great opportunity to build upon your existing knowledge and skills. Being welcomed as part of our happy, dynamic team you will assist the Doctors and Nurses running clinics for adults and children from Monday to Friday.
