Salary Scale : £140 - £190 per day

Contract : Long Term / Supply

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join a client secondary school in Wakefield . This is an amazing opportunity for an experienced professional to engage students, instilling a love of literature and language.

With a strong commitment to maintaining high academic standards, the ideal candidate will also contribute to the overall success and development of the English department.

As an English Teacher , you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that cater to a diverse range of learning abilities,





encouraging progress in both reading and writing skills.

Responsibilities of an English Teacher :

- Plan and deliver innovative English lessons.
- Assess students' work regularly and provide constructive feedback.
- Monitor and support students’ academic and personal development.
- Work collaboratively with other teachers to ensure a consistent approach to the subject.

Qualifications and Requirements for an English Teacher :

- Hold Qualified Teacher Status ( QTS ) or equivalent.
- Relevant teaching experience within a UK secondary school setting.
- A thorough knowledge of the English National Curriculum.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to inspire and engage students.
