About the role
The Bartlett School of Architecture is seeking to appoint a full-time member of the professional services team. The post holder will support and contribute to a healthy culture and community for BSA staff and students, based upon the core values articulated in the school’s shared values pamphlet.
The role will support students, staff, and the BSA’s administrative leadership team to deliver a robust sense of community and engagement throughout our building at 22 Gordon Street, one of the school’s four London sites.
The BSA Culture and Community Manager role is responsible for overseeing show builds, events facilitation and management,
and for coordinating programmes and events in our new student lounge.
You will ensure the continuous safety and wellbeing of students, employees, visitors and contractors, and oversee and deliver high quality and responsive service.
This is a student facing role and also involves liaising with colleagues across UCL.

The successful candidate is expected to problem solve, anticipate issues, adjust approaches when necessary, and make best practice an absolute priority.
This is a busy role, in a fast-paced environment, and the post holder is expected to be adaptable, assimilate information quickly and show initiative.
The position requires a post-holder who is able to network effectively with a wide range of people, often at senior levels.
