Senior Building Services Manager (Electrical)
Salary : £66,000-£71,000
Type : Permanent, Full time (35hours per week)
Location : Ealing office base - Hybridworking and flexible across London.

About theRole
You willprovide effective leadership of the Electrical team as part of the BuildingServices department who are responsible for ensuring the safe operation andstatutory compliance of all M&E; related equipment and customer safety.
Your teamoversee the management of the Electrical services contracts and delivery of thecommunal & domestic electrical testing programme within our residents’homes across the A2D property portfolio.
You will be responsible for ensuringcompliance with statutory and regulatory requirements through effectivecontract management, accurate reporting and robust asset data.
You willbe tasked with improving contractor performance and have financial oversight ofall contracts, ensuring budgets and targets are met through effectivemonitoring and control of expenditure.
You willlead on the procurement of new contracts where required, followed by effectivecontract management of those contractors to ensure that all contractualobligations are met and adhered to.
You willsupport the team to ensure we provide quality homes and places for ourcustomers by exceeding service and regulatory expectations through delivery ofthe corporate strategies.
More about you
- You will hold a level 5 / 6 qualification in an M&E; related discipline or be able to evidence an extensive M&E; background
- Significant M&E; Contract & Project management experience and working with various forms of contract and experience of managing programmes of work more than £5m
- Knowledge of the Building Regulations, compliance standards and able to read and understand technical specifications and drawings
- Experience of providing effective customer focused services, in an M&E; or related maintenance or repair setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle required.
