Deputy Headteacher Required Mixed Secondary School, Hillingdon (April or September 2025 Start)
Are you an experienced and visionary educational leader looking for your next challenge? We are currently seeking a dedicated Deputy Headteacher for a mixed secondary school located in Hillingdon , with the start date flexible for April or September 2025 .

As the Deputy Headteacher, you will work closely with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team to implement the school’s strategic vision, foster a culture of continuous improvement,
and support staff and students in reaching their full potential.
You will oversee the development of academic programs, lead key initiatives, and ensure the effective day-to-day management of the school.
Salary : £80,000 - £95,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide strategic leadership and work in partnership with the Headteacher to deliver outstanding educational outcomes
- Oversee the development, implementation, and monitoring of the curriculum, ensuring it meets the needs of all students
- Lead and inspire staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment
- Uphold the highest standards of teaching, learning, and assessment, ensuring consistency across all departments
- Drive school improvement initiatives and contribute to the school's development plan
- Manage student behaviour and pastoral care, promoting a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
- Monitor staff performance and conduct appraisals, providing guidance and support for professional development
- Develop strong relationships with parents, carers, and the wider community

Requirements :
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and significant senior leadership experience in a secondary school setting
- A proven track record of school improvement and raising educational standards
- Strong knowledge of the UK education system, curriculum, and assessment frameworks
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- A commitment to student achievement and staff development
- The ability to foster a positive and inclusive school culture
