Job description
Dispatch Operative required on the outskirts of Maidstone on a temporary to permanent basis.
You will join an established team and be responsible for allocating materials and stock.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage the inbound process of stock.
- Ensure accurate stock records are maintained.
- Assist with stock taking ensuring accuracy of the records.
- Issue stock internally, maintaining storage disciplines, systems, and records.
- Pack goods ready for shipment
- Check each item for visual defects when packing and report any issues.
- Follow all packing instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Work with the Dispatch Department to confirm completion of the orders.
- Maintain packing material supplies.
About you :
- At least 12 months of relevant experience that can be transferred to this role.
- Good IT skills
- Organised
- Able to handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to Detail
- Team Player
- This can be a physically demanding role with lifting required.
This role is Monday to Friday 8-5 and pays £11.44ph. Our client invests in their staff with opportunities for further training.
