National Museums Liverpool currently have two posts of Assistant Registrar available, one permanent full time and the other a project post fixed term at 0.5 FTE for 20 months.
The key purpose of these roles is to support the registrars in the delivery of the legal and statutory administration and documentation of collections. This includes contributing to the ongoing incoming and outgoing loans programmes, exhibition support and collections documentation. You will work to NML and national standards in the management of collections and on occasion, under the direction of registrars, manage smaller loans, transport and exhibition activities. You will work with multiple internal and external stakeholders, communicating with agents, suppliers,
lenders, borrowers, exhibition and curatorial colleagues.
