The RoleWe are currently recruiting for a Policy & Strategy Manager, Green Economy to join our Policy & Strategy team.
We are looking for a proactive and dynamic candidate to help design and deliver key British Business Bank initiatives to support smaller businesses transition and adapt so they thrive in a green future and net zero economy, and to develop our wider approach to support all aspects of the Modern Green Economy.
Our work on the net zero transition has shown that while smaller businesses place high importance on taking climate action, many have no transition plans in place and can face finance and other barriers when they do. The British Business Bank is committed to addressing this challenge,
with this role at heart of developing the measures to help SMEs reduce their emissions as well as supporting them to innovate through bringing new environmentally friendly products and net zero abatement technologies to market.
