The TeamThe Private Funds team is well-regarded for its expertise in fund formation, advising on a wide range of private equity, real estate, and infrastructure funds. The team provides comprehensive legal support to some of the largest fund managers globally, guiding them through fund establishment, marketing, regulatory compliance, and secondary transactions. Known for their collaborative approach,
the team works with clients across various sectors, offering tailored solutions to navigate the complexities of fund structuring and cross-border investments.
The RoleThe successful candidate will be involved in the full spectrum of private fund formation and advisory work, focusing on setting up private funds and assisting with regulatory issues related to M&A; and investment structures. The role offers the opportunity to engage with high-profile clients across the private equity and asset management sectors, providing strategic guidance on complex financial transactions. Key ResponsibilitiesAdvising on the establishment and structuring of private funds across various asset classes
Providing legal advice on regulatory and compliance matters related to fund formation and investment strategies
Assisting clients with fund management, including buyouts, co-investments, and secondary transactions
Collaborating with cross-practice teams on fund-related M&A; deals and complex investment structures
Managing multi-jurisdictional matters and offering strategic insights on cross-border transactions
Key RequirementsThe ideal candidate will have 3-5 PQE in a leading funds or corporate practice. The successful applicant should demonstrate:Strong experience in private fund formation and structuring
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skillsA collaborative and proactive approach to client service
Familiarity with complex regulatory frameworks impacting private funds
Ability to manage cross-border transactions and multi-jurisdictional mattersA commercial mindset with a focus on delivering practical solutions to clients
