Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and nurturing nanny who is able to drive to care for our daughter, during the school term. The role is part-time during the school year and has the potential to become a permanent position when school restarts next year. We need someone who can be consistently relied upon for quality care.
Responsibilities:
• Pickup & Care: Drive to pick up from her after-school club and provide care until 11:30 PM, as I finish work at 11:00 PM.
• Work Hours: 5:00 PM to 11:30 PM during school terms.
• School Term Only: Care is required only during school terms, with no need for coverage during school holidays.
Duties:
• Support: Assist her with homework,
reading, and engage in various activities. Support her with after-school tasks and ensure a positive, interactive experience.
• Bedtime Routine: Help with bedtime routines, including ensuring she is in bed by 8:30 PM.
• Food: She is flexible with food and can prepare some items herself. You are welcome to assist with food preparation if needed. Food will be provided for both A and yourself.
Expectations:
• Comfort: Provide caring and affectionate support, treating A with the same love and attention you would your own child.
• Driving: Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to pick up A from school and return home.
• Background Check: A background check will be conducted to ensure trustworthiness and reliability.
Additional Information:
• Pet: We have a 10-month-old miniature poodle who will be in the house. The nanny should be comfortable around the dog,
though the primary focus will be on A's care.
