Are you looking for a new role in the digital space? This role takes an office first hybrid approach here at London Gatwick, with three days a week in the office, two days remote, managed around the needs of the business.
What is the role?
We are looking for a Digital Product Manager to join our Car Parks and E-Commerce team within the Commercial function at London Gatwick.
In this new and key role, you will be responsible for driving the vision, strategy, and development of digital products. Supporting the delivery of over £100m online income annually across car parks, forecourt charging and a range of airport ancillary propositions.
You will work closely with internal business & IT stakeholders to manage delivery, working to grow Commercial margins through exploiting our investment in Salesforce as a best in class e-commerce platform.
What will you do?
- Develop and communicate the digital product vision and strategy aligning with overall business targets.
- Manage the entire lifecycle of digital product developments from concept to launch to business as usual.
- Conduct customer, market and business user research to identify needs and opportunities.
- Effectively translate customer needs into high level product features, product architecture and UI design.
- Oversee requirements discovery,
solution design, user story writing, feature development and user acceptance testing.
- Guide, direct and collaborate with cross-functional internal/external teams that form GAL's agile product team.
- Own the development, prioritisation & mgmt. of the Commerce product roadmap and backlog, collaborating with IT.
- Monitor and evaluate product performance to drive continuous improvement and increase customer lifetime value.
Do you have what we're looking for?
- Experience of comparable retail or travel e-commerce platforms .
- Proven demonstrable successful experience in digital product management or similar role .
- Ability to develop clear vision and strategy for digital product development .
- Experience in managing entire product lifecycle .
- Good understanding of relevant technologies / technical acumen .
- Expertise in developing product roadmaps and manging delivery .
- Strong leadership skills to guide cross-functional digital team, fostering culture of collaboration & continuous improvement .
- Experience in directing both direct and virtual teams to deliver business targets .
- Can work effectively with external agile product teams .
- Highly numerate and able to use analytics / insights to inform decision making .
