The ideal candidate for this role, will be an enthusiastic and dedicated Psychologist. As part of the team, you will be working within an all-Male Rehabilitation Hospital. This is a highly rewarding job,
supporting our clients to maintain their rehabilitation and enabling them to manage their behaviours successfully.n
In order to be successful in this role, you will have a psychology degree and a minimum of 2 years post qualifying experience as an Clinical Psychologist. We require experience supporting individuals with challenging behaviours. A friendly and caring approach is essential.n
No two days will look the same in this role, however your main duties will include:n
- Assessing clients to understand their psychological needs, developing the right support and interventions for supportn
- Identifying goals and developing support plans to facilitate these goalsn
- Supporting clients directly on a 1 to 1 basis or via multi-disciplinary teamsn
- Attending group sessions with the client and wider supporting professionalsn
- Working closely with the Hospital Manager to facilitate the support package for clientsn
- Creating behavioural support plansn
- Monitoring client data and conducting mood assessmentsn
- Liaising with external organisations, clients,
and their familiesn
