To develop the overall customer strategy of the business and to support peers to deliver excellent sales results. To 1 Meetings with the MD: Attendee & ContributorMain Responsibilities:Maintain working relationships with all other executive committee members to ensure effective co-ordination of all company activities in support of business objectives
Act as the main advisor for the business on all issues relating to customers and sales Develop, implement and ensure the ongoing success of the J T Dove customer sales strategy, ensuring profitability is optimised and market share is the key focus
Evaluate overall company performance by gathering, analysing and interpreting sales data and metrics (then)
supporting the entire business in the execution of plans for sustained improvement
Taking a leading role for the business in the development of relationships with our Buying Group, ensuring that J T Dove is represented and benefitting from its membership
Work within the J T Dove structure to optimise the business pricing structure, ensuring terms maintenance to achieve consistent pricing Direct, lead & coach all sales staff to ensure that they are motivated and suitably trained to carry out their responsibilities to the required standard
Responsibility for the continued development and execution of the company CRM system ensuring success levels are optimised from all users
Working closely with the Marketing & Commercial teams to ensure that we are delivering relevant products & promotional activities that have meaning for our customers across ALL product groups
Become an expert of latest developments in the market place to ensure that the business maintains its competitive position & delivers market share growth
Embrace the use of technology, develop tools for the future and develop the relevant training that will ensure our sales colleagues remain ahead of the game and are able to sell products from ALL of our product groups Knowledge, Skills & Experience Desired:Extensive Sales Management experience
