Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and interactive drama lessons to students in accordance with the school's curriculum
- Foster a creative and nurturing environment that promotes student confidence and self-expression
- Organize and direct school plays, performances, and other dramatic productions
- Assess and evaluate students' progress through assignments, exams, and other forms of assessment
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely records of students' attendance, progress, and behaviour
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding students' progress and any concerns
Requirements
- A degree in Drama or a related field, along with relevant teaching qualifications
- Proven experience teaching drama to primary or secondary school students
- Passion for drama education and a strong understanding of current teaching practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to engage and motivate students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Up-to-date knowledge of drama curriculum and assessment frameworks
