Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver well-structured Spanish lessons that cater to the needs of students at different levels and abilities
- Create engaging and interactive learning experiences that inspire students to develop their language skills
- Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop comprehensive curriculum plans
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behaviour, and performance
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and any concerns that may arise
- Stay updated with the latest teaching methodologies and educational techniques and apply them in the classroom
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Spanish or a related field
- Teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS) and relevant teaching experience
- Strong knowledge of the Spanish language, culture, and literature
- Proven ability to plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Friendly, approachable, and adaptable personality
- Familiarity with educational technology and the ability to integrate it into teaching practices
