Main duties of the job

This is a new and exciting leadership position within our organisation that will build on the committed work that is already in place across our services.

Broadly speaking, your portfolio will have three key workstreams :

1. We have a long history of being the lead employers for Trainee Clinical Psychologists registered on the University of Birmingham Doctorate in Clinical Psychology training programme.

This team would be part of your portfolio.

2. We have a wide range of "grow your own" and "recruit to train" workforce transformation programmes across the Trust which would also be part of your portfolio, working alongside our Divisional Leads for Psychological Professions to champion opportunities supporting the diverse representation and expansion of our workforce.

3. And finally, to support our retention and progression, we have a range of education and training offers meeting clinical professional development needs, which requires additional leadership.

This work stream would also be part of your portfolio.
