Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging drama lessons to students of various ages and abilities
- Create and implement an inclusive curriculum that inspires students' creativity
- Develop and maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment
- Assess and provide constructive feedback to students on their performance
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement drama productions
- Support and guide students in theatrical performances and rehearsals
- Monitor and track student progress and provide timely feedback to parents and guardians
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Drama, Performing Arts, or a related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Previous experience teaching drama to primary or secondary students
- In-depth knowledge of drama teaching methodologies and best practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively engage and motivate students
- Creative and innovative approach to drama education
- Enthusiasm for working in a collaborative and supportive team environment
