Hays Education are currently looking for a teacher who can work part-time in a primary school situated in North Birmingham.
The school is a larger than average, Ofsted rated Good’ school. Teachers have high expectations for the behaviour of pupils, pupils respond accordingly.
They are calm, polite and helpful in and around the school.
Your new roleThe school are recruiting for a part-time (Monday-Thursday) PPA teacher to work from Years 2 to 6. As a PPA teacher, you will be responsible for delivering lessons to cover the absence of class teachers.
You will work closely with the class teachers and ensure any lessons taught are marked and feedback is provided to class teachers.
This role willmence immediately.
What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful in securing this position, you must possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have experience in primary schools.
You will have the ability to build an excellent rapport with pupils, staff, parents and carers. You must have a good understanding of the National Curriculum and be able to adapt quickly.
In addition to this, we will require two satisfactory references.
