Job description

This is a full-time position starting in April.

Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons that meet the unique learning needs of students
- Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students to actively participate in their learning
- Develop and implement strategies to support students' language development, reading comprehension, and writing skills
- Assess students' progress through assignments, tests, and other forms of evaluation
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the English curriculum
- Communicate with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on students' progress and achievements
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and other school-related activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Proven experience teaching English to primary or secondary students
- Strong knowledge of the English curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient and empathetic approach to teaching
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
- Creativity and enthusiasm in delivering engaging and interactive lessons
