Nursery : Bright Horizons Farnborough Day Nursery and Preschool
Salary : £26,660 - £32,000pa (dependant on qualification / s and experience)
Location : Farnborough
We are looking for a full time, Level 3 qualified Room Leader to join our Bright Horizons Farnborough Day Nursery.
Our Bright Horizons Farnborough nursery a beautiful old building located in central Farnborough with good public transport links and a 20 minute walk from the train station.

What you’ll be doing
- Lead, mentor and inspire a team to deliver exceptional care and education
- Ensure the learning environment provides consistent stimulation and engaging activities for the children, across both the indoor and outdoor areas
- Deliver and plan rich learning opportunities and exceptional care, to help all children to develop and meet their individual milestones
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with colleagues, parents and / or carers, as well as other professionals, to meet the individual needs of each child
- Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding
- Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy and safe environment
What we’re looking for
- Full and Relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification (essential)
- Previous experience working within an Early Years setting - ideally as a Room Leader, Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator or similar
- Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children
- Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents
- Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
