The Role : As a KS2 Nurture Teacher at our SEN School,
you will play a crucial role in providing additional support and intervention for students who may require extra assistance with social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
Key responsibilities include :
- Planning and delivering tailored interventions and support programs to meet the social, emotional, and behavioral needs of KS2 students.
- Creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where students feel valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.
- Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to provide holistic support and interventions for students.
- Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing feedback and support to promote growth and development.
- Implementing strategies to promote positive behavior management and social skills development.
Requirements : To excel in this role,
candidates should possess the following qualifications and attributes :
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience working with students with special educational needs, particularly in KS2.
- Strong understanding of social, emotional, and behavioral needs and effective strategies for supporting student well-being.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Compassion, patience, and a genuine commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of students.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and resilience in responding to the diverse needs of students.
