Head of MFL (German) Croydon Church of England Secondary School (Start ASAP)
We are seeking a passionate and experienced leader to join the team at a thriving Church of England secondary school in Croydon, South London.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Head of MFL (German) to lead the department and inspire a love for the language in students.
About the Role :
- Lead and manage the MFL (German) department,
ensuring the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning across all Key Stages.
- Develop and implement a stimulating curriculum that fosters a love for the German language and culture.
- Motivate and inspire a team of teachers to deliver engaging and effective lessons.
- Play a key role in the school's wider strategic development, promoting the importance of languages.
- Contribute to the pastoral care of students within the MFL department.
About You :
- A qualified and experienced teacher of German with a proven track record of success.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for the German language and a desire to share this enthusiasm with students.
- The ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
