Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and interactive Science lessons that align with the school's curriculum
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and collaboration
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and support to help them achieve their academic goals
- Implement effective teaching strategies to cater to different learning styles and abilities
- Use a variety of resources, including technology, to enhance teaching and facilitate student understanding
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices for Science education
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and attendance
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
- Proven experience teaching Science at the primary or secondary level
- Excellent knowledge of the Science curriculum and current educational practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Passion for teaching and a commitment to creating a stimulating and supportive learning environment
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students
- Proactive, organized,
